Nairobi: a city in the dust!!!

We are in Nairobi from 2 days now. We sleep in a small youth hostel with hot water (soooo nice)...but we couldn't find the option "quiet night"...so the first night was "a little bit" noisy...Anyway we had a rest :-)
After breakfast we went to the railway station. To give you an idea it's.... a big mess: buses and matatus (kind of mini buses) everywhere. No signs or directions... But thanks to our "perfect" english ;-) we finally found our matatu: A small bus with kenyan music and seats covered with blue and orange "fake leather"...
The matatu drop us at the entrance of the National Park where we have to walk to the David Sheldrick Park, an orfanage for elephants. The park is only opened from 11 am to noon and we have a long way to walk.... By chance a local gave us a lift to the park. In the orfanage there were 30 baby elephants aged between 3 months and 5 years old.
They are here because their mother died... either killed by a poacher or because of sickness...
The young elephants only want to play, to refresh themselves and eat...
Each 3 hours they get a bottle a human milk. This milk is produced in UK and is used for human babies and elephants because their digestive systeme is too weak to support cow milk.
Two warthogs came in the bush. But Timon was missing :-)

After that, we went back to the entrance. On the road we saw a monkey family ;-) and then we found another driver (Julias) who takes us to the Giraffe center. It's a park where you can feed the giraffes. Did you know that giraffes have a long tongue ?? :-P!!!
After lunch we walk back to the principal road and another Kenyan citizen gave us a lift ;-) we are lucky. Then a matatu stopped in front of us to drive us to Nairobi city center. The capital is "impressive". It's a big mix of buses, matatus, cars, pedestrians, dust and noise! But Kenyan guys are friendly and in Uluru Park you can find a quiet place.
...And here we are, the day is almost finished and it's time for us to was our clothes and dine... See you next time for a new adventure !!!
